In past years I have come across some pretty cute children’s books with rabbits. Although only some of these are actually Easter books, they would all be fun to read during the spring season.
My favorite creative bunny books are Artie and Julie and A Bunny and His Boy. Artie and Julie is fun to read because the pages are cut in half with each version of the story. A Bunny and His Boy has a super funny rhyming text.
For silly Easter books, I like Pete the Cat Big Easter Adventure and The Easter Bunny’s Assistant. The latter book left my girls laughing their heads off when the skunk gets smelly with excitement. My kids also love Pete the Cat with its understated humor.
And for sentimental reads, I love The Velveteen Rabbit and The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare. Even though the Velveteen Rabbit is usually associated with Christmas, I love its tender message of becoming real. And the stories of Little Nutbrown Hare reflect a sweet parent-child relationship that I also enjoy.
