Now that I’m almost feeling like a regular person again, I’ve started taking more pictures of the girls. I got a new camera (an early anniversary/birthday/Christmas gift) and I’ve had fun trying it out.
Ellie’s hair has finally gotten long enough to sport pigtails. She absolutely loves them and requests them most days. They’re such a novelty, she can’t keep her hands off them!
One day Sophie got creative and made a new device: she calls it the “tickle belly-buttoner.”
We have some lizards that like to hang out in our garden. Eldon snapped this picture of one with a growing tail.
Well, Ellie did potty train herself in 2 days, but she sort of lost interest in being responsible about the whole thing… so we’re doing diapers again. Here she is rushing to the bathroom and trying to hold in her poopy!
I love Ellie’s hair! It is so cute! 🙂 What camera did you get? Are you still using your 50mm lens mostly?
Eldon let me upgrade to the Canon 5D Mark II. I got it refurbished at Canon for approx $1000 less than what I’ve seen it go for at even Amazon. Everything seems to be fine with it. Yes, I’m still using the 50mm. I had the first Rebel version and the image quality just drove me crazy and the Mark II was the recommended one from the Nicole’s Classes lady I’ve told you about. Anyway… that’s why my personal budget is completely gone for the rest of the year! 😉 By the way, I found a really useful video about getting exposure more accurate that I’m planning to post and I bet you’d find it useful too.
So excited for you to get a new camera! 🙂 Of course the girls are as adorable as ever! 🙂
Yay! I have been looking at the 5D too and also the 7D and the 60D because they are really good prices used! Not that I am planning on getting one…just for fun. Now your 50mm is actually 50mm 🙂 That is one thing I don’t like about that lens on a crop camera! I am excited for your future posts! The pictures do look amazing!!
I can’t believe you guys didn’t comment on that fantastic lizard. 😉 Great pics Steph!
Cute girls! Potty training is always an adventure.
